This blade is purposely made with the bend and chamfered edges in the opposite direction to a standard blade, so when cutting through the urethane, the blade shape makes the cut drop away from the screen rather than using the galss surface as a guide. These are mainly used on encapsulated windscreens where the trim is fixed to the screen and unable to remove from the screen prior to cutting out.
